The Bar works with most major blog programs, but not with Live Journal™, Posterous™, or tumblr™.

  4. Go to free.eqnetwork.com

  5. Paste the embed code into the first box

  6. If you use WordPress™ or Blogger™, click the appropriate button

  7. If you use other blog software – like TypePad - or if you are going to paste directly into your website code – choose Other/HTML

  8. Read our terms of service and check the checkbox

  9. Copy the new code

  10. Once the new code is generated and copied, you may now begin a new post, or edit an old post, and paste the new code into the HTML portion of your blog or website

  11. When you are ready, publish your blog or website

The YouTube video you chose appears with the customization you wanted as well as an EQ Bar.

Now your visitors can send the video to billions of devices.

Note: There are special instructions to follow if you are using WordPress or Blogger that are detailed in their Help.

If you frequently use YouTube videos on your site you may wish to sign up for an EQ Network account. That way, you will not have to click the Terms of Service checkbox every time you generate a new embed. Fill out an application.
